Piloncillo is an unrefined sugar typical of Mexico and Latin America. It's the product of cane juice boiled down to a thick syrup and poured into cone-shaped molds to harden. It has notes of caramel and molasses and it’s full of flavor. It’s also known as panela in other countries.
The combination of piloncillo, chile pasilla, turbinado sugar, and pink salt is perfect for fall and winter drinks. Use this salt with sweeter cocktails made with peaches, nectarines, pumpkin, or pears. It’s a versatile salt and pairs well with bourbon, rum, vodka, and whiskey. It works great as a finishing salt on sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and other desserts.
Comes in a resealable mylar bag. Each package is 1.5 ounces (approximately 35 servings). Please make sure to close properly after each use and store in dark cool places for longer shelf life.
